Who are we?

Fun Time Studios is a family studio owned by Chris and Jasmine McClarney. Chris and Jazz met in ministry to the unhoused and those in need in downtown Nashville. And their heart is still for the least of these. Jasmine has built multiple businesses, and a nonprofit doing laundry for the unhoused called The Laundry Stop (now merged with Shower Up doing laundry AND showers!) Chris has been in the christian music industry for more than 25 years as a writer, worship leader, and occasionally an accidental artist. He’s won awards and stuff but doesn’t care and doesn’t wanna list them here. Unrelated: There are beautiful pictures of Jasmine and Chris at the Grammys online.

The McClarneys are dedicated to genuine community, real music, and a fun atmosphere. Their heart is that music be made together again. So there’s space to track the whole band! No more emailing drum tracks to the bass guy! That is NOT how to find a real groove! Do it together! Make real art not what you think will make money!

Chris is obsessed with analog gear but knows nothing about plugins (we have quality engineers to do that stuff). “The 5088 can deliver THAT sound you want (please turn the silk all the way up for saturation on steroids)!” - Chris
